Asking the difficult questions - making the difficult decisions - how to develop powerful locally owned evidence based commissioning

This free one day conference aimed to share the experiences of places that are using new large-scale public-facing initiatives including commissions, task-forces and strategic service review to address long standing challenges such as inequalities. The event provided an opportunity to discuss the successes, the challenges and the impact of these initiatives on local decision making processes and the implications for statutory functions such as Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
