About high impact changes

The NHS is required through World Class Commissioning to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of spend (WCC competencies 6 and 11). In 2004 the NHS Modernisation Agency published 10 high impact changes for service improvement and delivery which suggested changes which would build in significant, measurable improvements to care. The document was revised in 2007 by the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement. Other organisations have published lists of high impact changes and this page brings together those which are public health related. This work is part of Health Intelligence Yorkshire and Humber. Please let us know if you have further examples.
