Small Area Dataset for Yorkshire and Humber
This dataset is one of the deliverables of the Health Intelligence Yorkshire and Humber (HIYAH) strategic programme which has been commissioned by fourteen PCTs across the region to support local intelligence and benchmarking requirements.
The small area dataset tool contains a comprehensive suite of key indicators cross-matched with indicators already set nationally, including those from Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA), National Indicators (NI) and Vital Signs (VS).
*Note - the spreadsheets associated with this tool have not been fully tested with Excel 2010.
Accessing the data
Data are available at Lower Super Output Areas (LSOAs) and Middle Super Output Areas (MSOAs). Please note that some of the atlases and spreadsheets are restricted to authorised users. You can request access by completing a non-disclosure form.
The interactive mapping tool enables users to explore, interrogate and view relevant indicators and trends in map, chart and tabular formats. The indicators are presented at the LSOA and MSOA level, separately, with PCT boundaries overlaid.
